Walk Bowmont Park to see grasslands covering the top of the cliff face, a ravine containing a Balsam Poplar forest, and a valley fed by the glacial Bow River. The park is home to species such as Canada Geese, White Tail Deer, Beavers, Frogs and Salamanders in addition to being a migratory routes for many species.

The amenities of the big city are also close at hand.
A shopping center is located across the street form the front of the building. Schools, the university, and hospitals are all within walking distance. Public transportation and major roads connect this area to the downtown core and TransCanada highway.
